freebsd the product seems very good, however in my case it didn't seem to detect automatically the slices in my FreeBSD UFS partition, only the root slice. This unfortunately made it not useable for my purposes, unless I'm missing something.

First time use I have a external drive formatted as fat32 running on an imac dual core with osx. After a power faliure truncated all the files on this drive - mainly video, I went down the route of reaching for Diskwarrior, which I then discovered only works with mac formatted drives. Having downloaded the demo for R-Studio and after a day's worth of waiting for the scan to complete, it came up with some pretty convincing indicators, so I went and bought the license in order to carry out some file retrieval. After another day and a half of retrieval, it has ...

too complicated for me This is just too complicated for me. I am looking for something simple to recover deliberately erased files. Something like Norton's Un-erase for Mac OS 9x. Do you know of such an application for Mac OSX. Thank you

Recoverz It recovered all my files - great.

Superficial Review of R-Studio for the Mac I was given a FAT32 formatted external hard drive by a Mac client running Leopard who could no longer mount the drive. I first tried DiskWarrior, but it does not work with any but Mac formatted drives. I then tried a four year old version of Data Rescue X. It found no files. I then did a Google search on the internet for a program that might work. After a while I found your program. When I found no reviews and the written material was obviously not written by someone who's first language was English, I was reluctant to even ...

Save previous versions of files in real-time. Versomatic for Mac OS X 1.0.2-build54 Versomatic's patent-pending technology automatically backs up all file changes in real-time while you work. Then go back in time to any earlier file or restore previously deleted files regardless of when they were deleted (unlike traditional undelete utilities that only work well right after the deletion takes place).
